My first WBG “Podcast.” Geek alert.
Published March 4th, 2006I really couldn’t imagine doing a Podcast for the same reason I never thought I’d do a blog: I just don’t think that much of my own opinion. Furthermore, given my affiliation with the digital media industry coupled with my disdain in general for writing that has no analytical substance, I thought Podcasting would be a further waste of my spirit. Anyway, I was wrong. I’d forgotten that I love to talk, and given a microphone and the ability to say something that may be of some value to people, well, I went ahead and did one.
This first podcast, my first ever for WBG.com, is basically my conference call with all the dinner guests (or anyone considering a visit to Philly). I ramble on about the hotel, the restaurant, past successes…etc.
The podcast is about 3 minutes long, with a little fanfare at the end to remind everyone of the sounds that are a part of my grandfather’s permanent memory.
Can’t wait to see you! In the meantime, clicking below will let you hear my thoughts on this year’s dinner.

P.S.Youre a dork but a loveable one
Hey, that’s not Gino………………. it’s Tom Hanks!!!
I am in for the three-peat for the dinner. You’re podcast was good because now I know how to correctly pronounce your last name. Looking forward to seeing you and your remarkable family (the Guarnere family and the members of the WBG community) again. I must thank your grandfather for all the help he gave me the last time we met.
